Lex Montgomery was raised in the suburbs of Saint Louis with her younger brother Kyle. The curious, intuitive, youngster discovered a keen interest in performance and at age 2, began training at the prestigious Pelagie Wren Academy of Dance. She appeared in several productions in the region, but it wasn't until age 10 when she became a professional actress, playing the role of Ngana in South Pacific at The Muny Opera.
Over the next few years she participated in several productions including the national tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, "The Nutcracker" with the Moscow Ballet, and toured the region as a featured soloist with The "Muny Kids." At age 12, Lex began a thriving fashion business which afforded her a trip to New York to perform on Broadway. After several years as a privately contracted and nationally ranked dancer/entertainer, she took a break from the industry to focus on school.
Lex attended Schmalkalden University in Germany where she studied International Business, and married her high school sweetheart shortly after graduating. After returning to the US, she shot a few student films and re-discovered her love for entertainment. Since her professional career began, Lex's talent and determination has allowed her to be involved in film & television at a pace that very few young professionals have experienced.
